Lifestyle newborn sessions have a special place in my heart. I like to imagine that in the years to come, you will call your not-so-little-anymore boy to you and gently lift him onto your lap. You quickly realize he’s getting so big you won’t be able to do that much longer. And while the world around you rushes on about the day, you sit together and steal away a quiet, peaceful moment…..just you and him. He knows the book in your hands. It’s his baby album. Although he’s seen it so many times, he never tires of looking at it with you, he never tires of talking about your memories with him. You open the album to see the tiny, precious baby he once was. While you stroke his hair you tell him again all about your memories of those first few days at home with him. He sees his nursery and the house you’d made a home; he sees in your eyes the unimaginable love you hold for him. He will forever be your baby. With these photographs, those memories will live on, even when that precious “baby” boy has become far too big to sit on your lap. He is yours and you are his….you are family. There is no greater blessing here on Earth.
